In diesem Seminar wurden verschiedene Kunstler und einige ihrer Werke vorgestellt und ein Bezug zum Sachunterricht hergestellt. In dieser Arbeit soll der Frage nachgegangen werden, in wie weit die Kunststromungen Earth Work und Eco Art fur die asthetische Bildung im Sachunterricht genutzt werden konnen und wie sie mit der Bildung fur eine nachhaltige Entwicklung kombinierbar sind. Hierzu werden drei Kunstler und einzelne Projekte von ihnen aus diesen Kunstrichtungen vorgestellt und ein Bezug zum Sachunterricht der Grundschule hergestellt. Der Nutzen und die Anwendbarkeit der in den Objekten verarbeiteten Themen werden aufgezeigt und die Verbindung zur Bildung fur eine nachhaltige Entwicklung gebildet. Earth Work (aus dem engl. Erdkunst") ist eine Kunstrichtung der sechziger Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts. Typisch fur diese Kunststromung ist, dass grosse Landschaften, wie Wusten, Felder oder Wasserflachen als Objekttrager fur kunstlerische Gestaltungen aus Naturmaterialien genutzt werden. Damit einher geht meist ein sehr grosser technischer Aufwand. Die Publizierung dieser Kunst erfolgt meist durch Aufnahmen aus der Luft, da so das komplette Werk und die angestrebte Wirkung zur Geltung kommen, durch Filme oder Buchpublikationen. Thematisiert wird die Beziehung Mensch und Umwelt, indem durch kunstliche Gestaltungsprozesse ein naturlicher Raum exemplarisch verandert wird. Diese Eingriffe bzw.
